Something kind of exciting is brewing 🫶🏼
Many of you know my dear, sweet friend Liz ♥️ Liz’s book, Hope Rises, helped me immensely after my miscarriage and I’ve shared about it a bit on here. Recently I reached out to Liz and asked for some advice publishing a book that is basically your heart. That is to say, I’m working on a pregnancy after loss book 🤍
I know, I know. I don’t usually write nonfiction, but it seems like God is really calling me to write this. I mentioned in a post on Instagram that I’d finished the rough draft, and here is where that project currently is at: I’ve done some minor editing, and I’m going to be reaching out to a few beta readers soon. My hopeful release date (I already have that picked out!) is January 3rd, 2024.
Jan. 3rd, 2022 was when I found out I was pregnant with Fiona. Now two years later on the same day, I’ll be releasing a book that focuses on biblical encouragement during pregnancy after loss. I’m excited and nervous. This is such a heart project!
Something that I found interesting is that after I was about halfway through my rough draft I flipped through Hope Rises and saw that both Liz and I titled a section the same thing. It felt like such a God moment. Actually, this whole project is one big God moment. He has equipped me for this 🤍
If you’re interested in following along with this journey, I’ll be posting about this book and more encouragement after miscarriage on Instagram (@sunshinerainandjesus)!
